About LingGuo-Drama

LingGuo-Drama is a self-hosted workbench for AI short dramas and motion comics. You write or generate a script, and it pulls out characters, scenes and props. Then it splits shots, writes frame prompts, makes images and video, and merges the clips. Paid API keys are needed, and the docs are Chinese-only.

Best for: Studio developers who want a self-hosted pipeline they can change, not a single-purpose tool.

What it does

  • Writes scripts by hand or with AI, and keeps them chapter by chapter
  • Pulls characters, scenes and props out of a script, then makes their images
  • Splits a script into shots and writes a prompt for each frame
  • Generates shot images and video clips, then merges them with FFmpeg
  • Runs AI jobs and video merging in the background with Redis and Asynq
  • Ships a Vue 3 admin workbench and a Docker Compose setup

    Copy the environment file: cp .env.example .env

    Start everything: docker compose up -d --build
  3. 3
    Open http://localhost for the workbench, and http://localhost/docs/index.html for the API docs

    Log in with admin / 123456, then change that password
  5. 5
    To run it locally instead, start the backend with the command below and the worker with the next command
    cd server && go run main.go serve
    cd server && go run main.go worker
