About AIComicBuilder

AIComicBuilder runs on your own machine and makes an animated comic drama from a script. Upload a TXT, DOCX or PDF file, and it pulls out characters, shots and clips. You'll need your own API keys for the text, image and video models. Setup takes some guesswork because the README is in Chinese.

Best for: Independent comic makers who want the whole animated-comic pipeline on their own machine.

What it does

  • Reads TXT, DOCX and PDF scripts, then splits them into episodes
  • Writes four-view character sheets (front, side, back, three-quarter)
  • Breaks the script into shots with framing, lighting and camera moves
  • Makes start and end keyframes per shot, then fills in the video between them
  • Joins all clips into one video and can burn in subtitles
  • Lets you set a different AI model per project, in 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1
