Toonflow is a free, open-source app for AI short dramas and comic dramas. It puts your script, characters, scenes and clips on one infinite canvas. You can run it on Windows, macOS, Docker or a Linux server. The catch: it's mid-refactor, and port 3000 has no login.

Best for: Independent producers who want to run the whole script-to-clip pipeline on their own machine.

   Download the Windows or macOS app from the GitHub Releases page. The Windows installer adds WebView2 for you.

   Or clone the repo and run docker compose up -d --build, then open http://127.0.0.1:3000.

   On a Linux server, install git, curl, unzip and ffmpeg, then run the command below.

   Run the command below, bun run build:server, the next command, then bun run start:server.

   bun install --frozen-lockfile

   mkdir -p data/workspaces/myProject

   Open the web UI, pick the myProject workspace, and add your model API keys on the page.
