Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms govern your use of openmicrodrama.com and the OpenMicroDrama software and services (the "Service"), operated by OpenMicroDrama ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

OpenMicroDrama is an online software service offered on a free plan and on optional paid subscription plans. Features and limits of each plan are described on our pricing page and may change over time.

Accounts and Acceptable Use

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt it, access it without authorization, reverse-engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you put into the Service. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content only as needed to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.

Automated and AI Features

Some features may use automated or AI models. Their output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Review it before relying on it; you remain responsible for how you use it.

Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Payments are processed by a third-party Merchant of Record, which acts as the seller of record for those transactions and handles billing, applicable taxes, receipts, refunds, and payment disputes.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid features until then. Refunds are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you before a price change affects your subscription.

Credits

Some plans include usage credits. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and expire as described on the pricing page (for example, at the end of a billing period).

Intellectual Property

We own the Service, including its software and design. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenMicroDrama will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold OpenMicroDrama harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
