About huobao-drama

Huobao Drama takes a novel and builds a whole short-drama episode in your browser. It rewrites the script, pulls out characters, scenes and props, then makes reference images. From there you break the script into shots, generate clips and merge with FFmpeg. It's non-commercial only, and you need paid API keys before anything runs.

Best for: One-person studios and small teams who want one guided, self-hosted pipeline instead of five separate tools.

   Clone and install: the command below, then cd backend && npm install and the next command

   Start both parts in two terminals: cd backend && npm run dev and cd frontend && npm run dev

   Open http://localhost:3013 (the API runs at http://localhost:5679/api/v1)

   In Settings, paste a Huobao API key under "Huobao Quick Setup", or add providers by hand

   Create a project, paste your novel, then run AI Rewrite, extraction and storyboard breakdown

   Select shots and click Start Merging to export the episode
