About smy-seedance-storyboard

This agent skill turns a story into a full production kit in the style of the old Shanghai Animation Film Studio: flat mineral colors, hand-drawn lines, no shading. You get a script, a color palette, image prompts for every character and scene, and timed Seedance 2.0 prompts for each 15-second episode. Two worked examples ship in the repo. The catch: there is no LICENSE file, and it hasn't been updated since August 2026.

Best for: Creators making Chinese folk-tale or mythology shorts who want one consistent retro hand-drawn look.

What it does

  • Writes a multi-episode script with a storyteller narrator, dialogue and subtitle cues
  • Locks one named color palette per show so colors don't drift between episodes
  • Gives image prompts for characters, scenes and props for Seedream, Midjourney or GPT Image 2
  • Outputs timed Seedance 2.0 shot prompts for each 15-second episode
  • Describes each episode's last frame so the next one continues from it
  • Switches to ink-wash, paper-cut or Dunhuang mural looks when you ask

Quickstart

    Clone the repo and add the folder as a skill in Claude Code or another agent that reads SKILL.md.

    Ask for a show, for example: make a five-episode drama of Wu Song fighting the tiger.
  3. 3
    Answer its questions about episode count, aspect ratio and tone, or say use the defaults.

    Paste the asset prompts into an image model, then the episode prompts into Seedance 2.0.
  5. 5
    Open the two example projects in the repo to see a finished kit first.
