About dramaclaw

DramaClaw is a self-hosted production line for AI short dramas and other visual stories. A node canvas handles images, video and audio, while a step-by-step pipeline runs the series. Drop in a manuscript and it plans episodes, writes scripts, draws storyboards and cuts the film. Nothing runs locally, so you need API keys or a gateway.

Best for: Adaptation teams that want to run the whole drama pipeline on their own machine.

   Clone both repos side by side: the command below and the next command

   Create the env file: cd dramaclaw then cp .env.example .env

   Set PROMPT_EXPORT_PASSWORD in .env to something other than the default

   Start the services: docker compose up -d --build

   Open http://localhost:8080 for the web UI (API on http://localhost:8780)

   In Settings → Model Config, pick Official (paste a DC key) or Custom (use the bundled gateway)
