Use this template to plan an 85-episode werewolf romance and make episode 1 with AI. You get the series plan, a beat sheet (the story's turning points, episode by episode), a full episode 1 script and a shot list.
The premise
Every wolf in Silvercrest knows the story. Ivy Hart has no wolf.
Tonight the Alpha (the pack leader), Kade Thorne, will reject her as his mate in front of everyone. He has the words ready.
Ivy gets there first. She rejects him and walks out of the circle. Three steps into the trees, her eyes go silver: the color of a bloodline that supposedly died out a century ago.
That swap is the engine, because the "wolfless" girl does the rejecting. You keep every familiar beat of the rejected-mate story, but Ivy has the power from the first minute.
What viewers expect from a werewolf drama
- The mate bond as a physical force. It hurts when they're apart and pulls when they're close. That gives you a free cliffhanger any time they're separated.
- Pack ranks. Alpha, Beta, Luna (the Alpha's mate), omegas. Viewers love seeing who bows to whom, and they love it more when it flips.
- The full moon as a clock. Put big events on moon nights. It keeps the timeline easy to follow over 85 episodes.
- Twist the clichés: the usual Alpha is cruel for twenty episodes before he's redeemed. Give Kade a reason for the planned rejection that viewers learn early: he's protecting her from his uncle. Then his coldness reads as tragedy, not a red flag.
The series at a glance
Aim for episodes of 60–90 seconds.
Transformation and moon scenes are expensive to generate. Save them for the end of a block (a run of episodes with one job). Keep most episodes to two people in a room.
| Block | Episodes | What happens | Ends on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hook | 1–3 | Ivy rejects Kade, her eyes turn silver, she runs | A rogue wolf finds her before Kade does |
| Escalation | 4–9 | Ivy hides with rogues; Kade's uncle hunts her; the bond hurts both of them | Kade collapses during a pack challenge |
| Paywall beat | 10 | Ivy shifts for the first time, to save Kade, in front of the pack | The uncle sees her silver wolf |
| Fugitive Luna | 11–30 | She trains with the rogues; secret meetings with Kade; the old royal history | The rogue leader kneels to her |
| Midpoint reversal | 31–42 | Kade's planned rejection was the uncle's order, under a blood oath | Ivy learns breaking the oath will kill Kade |
| War building | 43–65 | Two packs, one Ivy; alliances, a false truce, a betrayal at the border | Her best friend is the uncle's spy |
| Dark moment | 66–75 | The uncle takes the pack lodge and forces a mate challenge | Kade loses and is exiled |
| Finale | 76–85 | Ivy claims the royal line, frees Kade from the oath, they accept the bond | Two wolves on the ridge, one silver, one black |
The first full shift waits for episode 10, the paywall beat (the big turn right where viewers start paying). Until then, the story runs on small signs like eyes and nails.
Beat sheet
- Ep 1 The moon ceremony. Ivy says the rejection first. Silver eyes in the forest.
- Ep 2 Kade feels the bond tear and goes after her. His uncle, Silas, sends the trackers out instead.
- Ep 3 A scarred rogue (a wolf with no pack) named Juno pulls Ivy into a hidden camp.
- Ep 4–6 Kade and Ivy both get sick from the half-broken bond. Neither will admit it.
- Ep 7–9 Silas stages a challenge to weaken Kade. Ivy feels every blow from miles away.
- Ep 10 (paywall beat) Ivy breaks into the challenge ring and shifts for the first time. Her wolf is silver.
- Ep 11–20 On the run with the rogues. Juno teaches her to hold the shift.
- Ep 21–30 Night meetings with Kade at the old quarry. A page is torn out of the pack's history book.
- Ep 31–42 The missing page: Silas made Kade swear a blood oath to reject any mate who might carry royal blood.
- Ep 43–55 Ivy builds an alliance of rogues. Kade fakes loyalty to Silas to protect her.
- Ep 56–65 Ivy's childhood friend Mara is caught passing messages to Silas.
- Ep 66–75 Silas forces a mate challenge on the full moon. Kade loses on purpose, so the oath doesn't kill him.
- Ep 76–85 Ivy uses the royal right to cancel any oath sworn against her line. They accept the bond, and Silas is exiled.
Sample episode 1
Screen time: about 1:45.
EPISODE 1 - "I REJECT YOU"
[0:00–0:03 HOOK]
EXT. SILVERCREST - CEREMONY CLEARING - NIGHT
Full moon. Torches in a circle. IVY HART (22, freckles, auburn
curls, oversized red flannel) stands alone in the center. Forty
WOLVES in human form watch her.
PACK MEMBER (O.S.)
(whisper)
Here we go. Rejection time.
[0:03–0:30]
KADE THORNE (30, shoulder-length dark hair, scar through left
eyebrow, black leather jacket) steps into the circle. Behind
him, SILAS THORNE (55, gray beard, silver ring) watches with
his arms folded.
Kade stops an arm's length from Ivy. His jaw works.
KADE
Ivy Hart. I, Kade Thorne, Alpha of--
IVY
I reject you.
Silence. A torch pops.
IVY (CONT'D)
I, Ivy Hart, reject you as my mate.
You don't get to do it first.
[0:30–1:00]
Kade staggers like he's been hit. He grabs his chest. His
eyes flash amber.
KADE
(through his teeth)
You have no idea what you just did.
IVY
Yeah, I do.
I saved you the speech.
She turns and walks out of the circle. The pack parts for her.
Nobody has ever walked away from an Alpha before.
SILAS
(quiet, to Kade)
Let her go. She's wolfless. She's nothing.
[1:00–1:25]
EXT. PINE FOREST - CONTINUOUS
Mist between the trees. Ivy walks fast, then faster. She stops,
doubled over, gasping.
IVY
(to herself)
Breathe. It's just a bond. It's just--
She looks down at her hands. Her nails are getting longer.
[1:25–1:45 CLIFFHANGER]
She looks up. Her reflection in a forest pool: her eyes glow
SILVER.
Somewhere behind her, Kade's howl. Then a second howl, closer,
from the wrong direction.
A shape steps out of the mist. Not Kade.
SMASH CUT TO BLACK.
The rejection lands at about four seconds, so your hook happens before people scroll away. Don't show the first transformation here. The nails and eyes are enough, and the full shift is your episode 10 payoff.
Making it with AI video
Plan on about 13 generations (separate clips). Torchlit night scenes drift the most, meaning the lighting slowly changes from clip to clip. Lock a color reference before you start.

Shots 1 through 8 all happen in the torch circle. So one locked start frame covers most of the episode.
Make these references first. A reference is an image you give the model so it copies that face or place.
- Ivy and Kade character sheets in their exact outfits. Add a separate close-up sheet of the eye states: Kade's amber flash and Ivy's silver glow. Eye color is the first thing models forget.
- Kade's scar is on the left eyebrow. Mark it on your reference and mention it in every prompt, or it'll wander to the other side.
- One 9:16 still of the torch circle at night. Use it as the start frame (the image the clip animates from) for shots 1 through 8.
- Save the transformation designs (silver wolf, black wolf) for later episodes. Sketch them now, though, so the look is decided before episode 10.
Prompts to start from: Kling werewolf prompts, Hailuo werewolf prompts, Seedance werewolf prompts.
