About LocalMiniDrama

LocalMiniDrama is a free desktop app for AI short dramas and comic dramas. It runs on your own computer, so scripts and assets stay local. You bring your own API keys for paid model providers like DashScope, Volcengine and Kling. The README is mostly Chinese; an English version sits at docs/en.md.

Best for: Small teams that want a local workspace and can supply their own model API keys.

• Generates the whole chain in one click and skips parts you already made
• Lets you edit shots on a canvas with per-shot pipelines and group re-runs
• Sets up text, image and video models separately, with 9 prompt categories
• Exports and imports projects as ZIP, plus a shared asset library
• Supports 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 frames, light and dark themes

   Download the standard or Lite .exe from the GitHub Releases page and double-click it.

   Open the AI configuration screen, paste your API key, and start creating.

   Or build from source with Node.js 18 or newer: the command below then cd LocalMiniDrama.

   Start the backend: the command below, the next command (add your API keys), npm run migrate && npm start.
