About capcut-mate

CapCut Mate is a free FastAPI service you run on your own machine. It creates and edits Jianying (CapCut) drafts through REST API calls. You can add video, audio, images, stickers, captions, effects and keyframes. Set aside Python 3.11+ and uv, and note that cloud rendering only works with Jianying.

Best for: Developers and automation builders who want to drive Jianying edits from their own apps or agent workflows.

   Install uv. Windows: the command below. Linux/macOS: the next command

   Clone the repo: the command below then cd capcut-mate

   git clone git@github.com:Hommy-master/capcut-mate.git

   Install dependencies with uv sync. On Windows also run uv pip install -e .[windows]

   Start the server with uv run main.py

   Open http://localhost:30000/docs for the interactive API docs
