Seedance prompt
Elena: 24-year-old woman, chestnut hair in a low ponytail, cream silk blouse, tan trench coat.
Adrian: 32-year-old man, sharp jaw, slicked-back black hair, charcoal three-piece suit, silver cufflinks.
Exactly two people in frame.
Setting: a dark penthouse office with floor-to-ceiling windows, warm desk-lamp light, dark room.
Live-action, cinematic, vertical 9:16, glossy, polished interiors.
0–3s: Medium shot, slow push in. Elena pushes the office door open and stops, holding a printed contract.
3–7s: Close-up, static camera. Adrian looks up from his desk without standing. Adrian, coldly, says in English {You signed it without reading it?}
7–10s: Extreme close-up, slow push in. Elena's jaw tightens, her eyes wet, she doesn't blink.
No subtitles, no on-screen text.

Settings: Seedance 2.5 · 9:16 · 10s · draft at 480p, finish the keeper at 1080p

What it does for you

  • Puts things in ByteDance's order: subject, action, scene, style, camera, sound.
  • Uses whole-second timestamps on 2.5 ("0–3s", "3–7s") and "Shot 1, Shot 2" labels on 2.0.
  • Writes dialogue in the official format: says in English {You signed it without reading it?}
  • Pastes each character's look word for word and adds a headcount line, so you don't get twins.
  • Ends every prompt with "no subtitles, no on-screen text".
  • Flags what the guides warn about: big emotion words, readable text in the frame, and rain or echo cues on 2.5.

Before you hit generate

  • For image-to-video, make your start frame 720×1280 or 1080×1920. The video copies the shape of the frame you give it.
  • Keep faces in the upper middle of the frame. Captions and app buttons cover the bottom.
  • On 2.5, make a cheap 480p draft first, then finish the same take at 1080p.
  • Joins between extended clips can jump. Trim about 6 frames from the end of the first clip and 1 from the start of the next.

Questions

Is this Seedance prompt generator free?
Yes, and there's no sign-up. The form runs in your browser. Only the AI fill sends anything: your one-sentence idea goes to our server and an AI model (Gemini, via OpenRouter, set to providers that don't keep or train on requests). We don't store it. You still pay for the video wherever you run Seedance.
Should I use Seedance 2.5 or 2.0?
Use 2.5 for main scenes and long dialogue takes (clips up to 30 seconds). Use 2.0 Mini or Fast for cheap drafts. Pick one version for the whole season, because 2.0 and 2.5 look visibly different.
How do I stop Seedance from adding music?
Tick "No music". The generator puts "No BGM, no music, no score" at the start and the end of the prompt, which is what the guide suggests when you plan to dub. Then add music in the edit.
How do I keep the same character across clips?
A word-for-word description in every prompt is the cheapest way to keep a face from changing. For real consistency, upload a clean headshot and a full-body image of each lead and tick the references box. The prompt then names them: @Image 1 is Elena's face and outfit.
Where can I run the prompt?
Dreamina (CapCut's web app) is the easiest way in. BytePlus ModelArk is ByteDance's own API with the lowest list prices. fal.ai and Replicate bill per second. Our Seedance guide compares them.
