Open Storyboard Canvas puts your whole storyboard on one endless local canvas. You get prompts, image and video generation, shot breakdown, and a 3D director stage. It runs on macOS and Windows, and the canvas Agent is still beta. Docs are in Chinese, and you pay for your own API keys.

Best for: Storyboard artists and AI short-drama creators who want a local, node-based canvas for shot planning and 3D camera staging.

   Download the installer from GitHub Releases: open-storyboard-canvas_<版本>_x64-setup.exe for Windows or open-storyboard-canvas_<版本>_universal.dmg for macOS.

   On macOS, allow the unsigned app in System Settings → Privacy & Security if it's blocked. On Windows, install Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime if asked.

   Create or open a canvas project, then add text, image or video providers under Settings → My Configuration. You can also set up Dreamina CLI.

   Add upload, AI image, AI video, director-stage or tag-group nodes from the left panel.

   Generate on a node, or open the Agent at the top right of the canvas and let it help.

   To build from source: the command below, npm install, then npm run dev or npm run tauri dev.
