About ai-shotlive

AI shotlive Director runs the whole short-drama pipeline on your own server. Upload a .txt novel, pick chapters, and it writes episode scripts. It then makes character sheets, scene art, keyframes and video clips. You need your own paid API keys, and it's non-commercial only.

Best for: Novel adapters who want a self-hosted path from novel to finished episode.

   Clone and install: the command below, cd ai-shotlive-Director, npm install, cp .env.example .env

   Edit .env with your database details and a JWT_SECRET.

   Run npm run dev — front end on port 3000, API on 3001.

   Or run the all-in-one stack: the command below.

   docker compose -f docker-compose.mysql.yaml up -d --build

   For a light SQLite build, run npm run build:local then npm run start:local.

   Log in with admin / admin123, then add your model API keys in the model settings page.
