About pyJianYingDraft

Build a JianYing timeline in Python with pyJianYingDraft instead of dragging clips by hand. The library writes drafts for JianYing (CapCut China) and handles video, images, audio, stickers, text, subtitles, effects and transitions. Auto-export only works on Windows with JianYing 6 or older.

Best for: Python-savvy editors who want to automate JianYing edits, including AI short-drama assembly.

• Adds video, image, audio, sticker and text clips to a draft
• Controls tracks: append or insert above and below existing ones

   Install with pip install pyJianYingDraft (Python 3.8 or 3.11 works best).

   Find your JianYing draft folder path (something like .../JianyingPro Drafts) and put it in demo.py where the placeholder is.

   Run demo.py to make a sample draft with audio, video, text, fades, an entrance animation and a transition.

   Open the new demo draft in JianYing. You may need to enter and leave another draft, or restart JianYing, to refresh the list.
