Biz Novel Studio is an open-source workbench for writing a full-length novel with AI. You start with one idea, and an AI planner builds the book, characters and chapters. It also turns finished chapters into comic panels and short-drama scripts. You'll need at least one LLM API key, and the docs are in Chinese.

   Install Node.js the command below and pnpm >= 10.6, then run pnpm install.

   Copy server/.env.example to server/.env; the default DATABASE_URL uses local SQLite.

   Set RAG_ENABLED=false in server/.env if you don't use Qdrant.

   Run pnpm dev. The frontend opens on http://localhost:5173, backend on http://localhost:3000.

   Open http://localhost:5173/settings and add at least one model provider API key.
